Mary Hall is the Founding Artistic Director of the Atlas INTERSECTIONS Festival at the Atlas Performing Arts Center, Washington, DC. She conceived and executed six years of multidisciplinary performances and innovative artist engagement. Her mission was to expand what disparate communities can share through the arts. She curated and managed annually over 600 artists and over 125 performances.
Mary Hall produces and directs performances for individuals and organizations, building on her deep knowledge of the Washington, DC arts community and in service to making performing arts central to our experiences.
Mobilizing Our Community
Mary Hall was the producer and project manager for Mobilizing Our Community, a four-month project supported by a DC Mayor Innovation Grant that brought 900 community members together to create over 60 mobiles that were installed at the Atlas Performing Arts Center. Multiple mobiles were given back to community spaces – schools, senior centers, and local businesses. Mary Hall continues to collaborate with the kinetic artist,
Theater Producer, National Gallery of Art
Mary Hall has written, directed, and produced four multi-media performances for family audiences. As producer, she negotiated all contracts, worked with on-site staff as production manager and managed the budget and all production personnel.
